Mr Rashad Yousef Janahi is one of the founders of ADIH. Previously, he had been a banker at HSBC Private Bank in Dubai and Geneva, where he developed and strengthened relationships with high net worth individuals in the GCC, Jordan, Pakistan and beyond. Additionally, he was a manager in the Investment Placement and Specialised Fund of Al-Baraka Islamic Bank, one of the first and the largest Islamic bank to be established in the Gulf region. Prior to that, Mr. Janahi was at Bahrain-based investment bank, Securities and Investment Co. (SICO), Arab Islamic Bank and Standard Chartered Bank. He is currently the Chairman of Qatar Entertainment City Board, and Director of Al-Arabi Private Equity Fund, and Gulf Holding Company.

Mr. Fawaz Ali Al Jowder has a strong professional track record which includes four years as a private banker at Kuwait Finance House (KFH) Bahrain, where he developed and strengthened relationships with many high net worth individuals within the GCC. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Citadel University, South Carolina, USA, with a major in Business Administration as well as a Diploma in Business from the University of Bahrain. He is also Chairman of Porta Reef in Bahrain; India Entertainment City and Director of Qatar Entertainment City Board.

 Mr. Mahmoud has over 16 years’ experience in industrial and corporate management, including establishing start-ups, business planning, financial modeling and equity research. He has also worked on formulating and implementing strategy and strategic change. He has an MBA in Finance from the Cranfield School of Management, UK, and a BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Reading, UK. Mr. Mahmoud holds the position of Director for the Beirut Gate Fund, Gulf-German Residences Fund, Porta Reef Fund, Sunset Hills Fund, and Qatar Entertainment City Fund.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California, USA. Mr Taha has worked as Group Financial Controller of a Qatari-based investment and Real Estate firm. He has also had experience heading several departments, including operation, treasury, cash management and investment portfolio management. He has had over 10 years of experience working with KPMG and Ernst & Young.

Mr. James is a member of the Association of Charted Certified Accountants who has worked for over 15 years in the private equity industry for such reputable institutions as DLJ, Schroder’s, Barings and Capital Trust Limited. Before joining ADIH he was European Controller for DB Zwirn, where he was responsible for setting up and running the European Finance Department. He has a BA (Hons) in Economics and Accounting from the University of Reading, UK.

Mr. Naib has over 19 years’ experience in the Real Estate industry in North America, Asia and the MENA region. He was responsible for developments in residential, cultural and hospitality sectors with leading US firms. He was also responsible for implementing Citigroup’s Real Estate portfolio in nine states in North America. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, USA.

Mr. Al Nusuf has a strong track record as a private banker with ADIH - where he developed and strengthened relationships with numerous high net-worth individuals, institutions and governmental agencies. He holds a Bachelor of Science from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) with a major in Finance. He is also Chairman of the Lagoon and Sunset Hills in Bahrain; a Director of Qatar Entertainment City as well as India Entertainment City. Prior to joining ADIH, Mr. Al Nusuf was a private banker at Ahli United Bank where he focused on the financial sector, manufacturing industry and trading companies.

Mr. Hussain Abdul Ghaffar has a Bachelor of Law from the University of Khartoum. He also has 20 years experience practicing law throughout the MENA countries, where he provided excellent commercial and legal advice to local and international companies. He is a skilled lawyer with personal experience of the different types of commercial transactions and contracts concluded within the Exchange Markets of the UAE, as well as the intricate legal aspects of insurance coverage for construction projects in the UAE.

Wael Mohamed Mattar, in addition to his role as General Manager, ADIH Bahrain, is responsible for overseeing the development, cultivation and marketing of both conventional funds and alternative investment products. He brings to this role vast experience in sourcing and selecting new investment products, including the important due diligence and performance measurement procedures gained first hand at the Bank of Bahrain & Kuwait. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The American University in Washington, D.C. He also studied additional courses in Credit, Accounting and Marketing at the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance. Prior to joining ADIH, Mr Mattar was a senior manager and shareholder of Capital Growth Management in Manama, Bahrain.

Ms. Noora H. Al Nusuf
Head of Corporate Communications  

Mrs. Nahla Moussa is responsible for all human resources activities including Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Training and Career Development at ADIH. With a Bachelor of Commerce from Ain Shams University in Cairo, she brings extensive experience from financial institutions such as the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank and the Mashreq Bank in Dubai.

Zyad brings over 10 years of experience in Information Technology (IT) and Management to his role as Head of IT. After graduation from the University of Baghdad, Zyad worked on highly diversified types of projects in Information Technology gathering a wide horizontal and vertical expertise.

Being part of ADIH team, he brings a wealth of experience across different industries combined with a business driven approach to IT. As Head of IT, Zyad is in charge of all of ADIH's IT aspects, managing the IT end to end infrastructure, systems development, as well as analyzing, planning, and implementing ADIH's future IT needs and requirements.

Mahmoud has an extensive experience in Treasury, he comes with international experience beginning his career in National Bank of Kuwait “NBK” where he began his education in Treasury working as a foreign exchange dealer and followed by corporate desk serving large corporate. Due to his success at National Bank of Kuwait he was hired at Al Bank Al Saudi Al Fransi “BSF” one of the leading Saudi banks dealing corporate treasury services. He has worked in Canada for an investment house where clients would place their funds and he would trade on their behalf. He also worked in Egypt as Manager and Chief Dealer in Export Development Bank of Egypt “EDBE” and then moved to handle a huge portfolio as the Head of Treasury in Social Fund for Development “SFD” -a ‘non-profit’ organization that falls under the UNDP umbrella- that gather global loans which he is actively involved in lending to SME’s whilst hedging the FX risk and investing their money. Before he joined Abu Dhabi Investment House he was working with National Bank of Abu Dhabi “NBAD” as a Senior Manager in Investment Banking Group.

Mahmoud holds a Bachelor of Commerce - Major Accounting from Ain Shams University Cairo, Egypt.

Mark Sultzburg achieved a B.A. in Economics and a Masters of Science of Finance at George Washington University. He also attended University of Virginia School of Law, where he focussed on Corporations and Corporate Acquisitions. He recently completed an additional LL.M in Securities Law and Financial Regulation at Georgetown University Law Centre. He has been admitted to the bar in the District of Delaware (U.S.A) and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Sultzburg comes to ADIH from the prestigious law firms Squire, Sanders & Dempsey and Morris, James, Hitchens & Williams where he advised on various corporate matters to do with draft stock purchase agreements, securities law, investment management and litigation regarding mergers and acquisitions.
